Dragon Boat Race
8th February 2022HELP US BUY A DEFIBRILLATOR BY BOARDING THE LOVE BOAT.
Charity Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday 5th June 2022, at Basin 2 Chatham Maritime, Chatham.
Teams of 16 compete with one of the crew beating a drum to dictate the pace of the paddles. They take part in a minimum of three races across the 250m course & the fastest teams compete in the finals at the end of the day.
Wanted: 20 crew members, aged 18+. Each crew member to raise as much as they can for St. Luke’s Pre-School, to help buy a defibrillator, with a minimum fundraising target of £50 each.
No experience necessary & the only challenge will be to beat the efforts of our last crew, which won 0 but had great fun & raised over £1000!
It is also a day for spectators & supporters, as well as for people taking part, so bring a picnic & lots of ice-cream money.
