Dec 2018 Newsletter

6th January 2019

Dear parents,

“It’s Christmas!” sang Noddy (Holder, that is)  and so the children have made some wonderful table decorations, shopped for presents for loved ones, breakfasted with Santa, given a 5 star performance in the Christmas play .. partied, laughed and been magical.

Thank you all so much for the gifts and best wishes and for all your efforts (the Christmas shop, Santa’s grotto, making cakes, buying raffle tickets …) in helping us to continue giving children the wish to learn.

Continuing the Slade theme with a “Look to the future now/It’s only just begun,” there’s a sneak peek below of  the mud kitchen and bridge in the back garden. Thanks to the time and effort of Arley’s dad and my better half,  and of course, all your continued support of our fundraising efforts, the bridge will be a t(r)oll free bridge (ha! ha!) to the fairy garden (or wherever the children’s imagination takes them) and the mud kitchen .. will be muddy but fun!

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas break and look forward to seeing you 2019!

Maria
