Sports Day superstars.

Held at Holcombe Hockey Club: unfamiliar surroundings and unfamiliar social situation for the children. But how well they all did and on the back of just one practise session!.

Relay and individual races, including: egg and spoon, sack race, obstacle (jumping/stepping over hurdles, going through tent …) hat race and bike race. All the children competed in them all. Sometimes with adult support and sometimes without: a couple may have held on to the bean bag on their head or only put one hat on or biked back before they biked there … but they all had fun.

The supporters/parents/families all had fun too as evidenced by the most competitive mums and dads races for many years.
